1. Acceptance
By accessing or using voicetypingai.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
2. The current service
VoiceTypingAI currently provides website information, a quick voice-typing editor, and a long-form dictation editor. Features may include browser-provided speech recognition, editable text, local autosave, word and character counts, session tools, copying, and plain-text export.
Some capabilities depend on the browser, operating system, microphone, network, locale, permissions, and third-party speech service. A feature appearing in the interface does not mean it is available on every device or in every region.
3. No account sync or durable backup
The current public editors do not provide account-based document synchronization. The Dictation editor may save a draft in local browser storage. That storage can be deleted, unavailable, or inaccessible after a browser, device, profile, or privacy-mode change. You are responsible for exporting and backing up text you need to keep.
4. Your content and responsibility
You retain whatever rights you already have in text you speak, type, paste, copy, or export. You are responsible for having the right to use that content and for reviewing the resulting transcript. Speech recognition may omit words, invent substitutions, mishandle names, or produce incorrect punctuation.
Do not rely on an unreviewed transcript for medical decisions, legal filings, financial instructions, safety procedures, employment decisions, academic submissions, or other high-impact uses. Verify facts, quotations, names, dates, and instructions with an appropriate source or qualified person.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Break applicable law or facilitate fraud, abuse, harassment, threats, or exploitation.
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
- Upload, dictate, or distribute malicious code or attempt to compromise the website.
- Probe, overload, scrape at harmful volume, bypass security, or interfere with normal operation.
- Misrepresent automated output as verified fact where doing so could harm another person.
- Use the service in a way that violates the terms of your browser or speech-recognition provider.
6. Website materials
The VoiceTypingAI name, branding, site design, original copy, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the public site for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of the service or permit copying the branding, selling access, or creating a misleadingly similar service.
7. Third-party and browser services
Speech recognition may be supplied by the browser or operating system. Links, copied text, downloaded files, and external applications may involve other providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply independently. VoiceTypingAI does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or policies of those external services.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a page or feature, including language choices, recognition behavior, storage format, or export options. We may also correct content or remove routes that no longer provide sufficient value. We do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular release schedule.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the site and editors are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that recognition will be accurate, drafts will be preserved, every command will work, or the service will meet a particular professional requirement. Nothing on the site is legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceTypingAI and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, drafts, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or business arising from use of or inability to use the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so a limitation may apply only to the extent allowed there.
11. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or another person’s rights.
12. Termination
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or address a violation.
