How Hindi voice typing works here
Hindi voice typing is useful when the idea comes naturally in speech but typing Devanagari slows down the first draft. Select Hindi, allow microphone access, and speak in complete phrases. The browser returns text that you can correct immediately.
Hindi and Marathi both use Devanagari, but they are different recognition languages. Keep the Hindi locale selected for Hindi vocabulary and pronunciation instead of assuming that a shared script makes the models interchangeable.
The page sets hi-IN as the recognition language. The browser still decides whether that language is available and whether processing happens on the device or through a remote service. If recognition is unavailable, the editor remains usable for manual typing and editing.

Using English words inside Hindi
Hinglish is common in meetings, messages, and technical work, but a single recognition session still has one selected locale. With Hindi selected, common English words may appear in Devanagari, remain in Latin script, or be replaced by a similar Hindi sound. Speak one language for the main sentence when accuracy matters, then correct brand names and technical terms with the keyboard.

Regional pronunciation can change short vowels, aspiration, and the sound of borrowed English words.
