Marathi voice typing helps capture messages, explanations, and notes without composing every Devanagari character manually. Speak one complete Marathi idea, wait for the browser to settle the phrase, and edit the output before moving it into another app.
Marathi shares Devanagari with Hindi, but choosing Hindi recognition for Marathi speech can produce convincing-looking text with the wrong vocabulary. Use mr-IN for Marathi and review words that differ by region, formality, or everyday usage.
The page sets mr-IN as the recognition language. The browser still decides whether that language is available and whether processing happens on the device or through a remote service. If recognition is unavailable, the editor remains usable for manual typing and editing.

Using English words inside Marathi
Marathi-English mixing is common in work and education, but exact code-switching behavior varies. Keep Marathi selected for the sentence structure. Pause around an English project or company name, then correct its official spelling manually. Do not switch to Hindi merely because both languages use Devanagari.
Recognition notes for spoken Marathi
Regional vocabulary and pronunciation can vary across Maharashtra, especially in conversational speech.
A browser model may confuse a Marathi form with a more frequent Hindi word that uses the same script.
